 WARWJCKSHIRE SIGN GIDDINS              
 Warwickshire have won the race to sign 
 formjt Sussex and England A pace bowler
 Ed Giddins.                            
                                        
 The 25-year-old has agreed a three-year
 contract to play for the county from   
 1998 when he completes a 19-month ban  
 for a drugs offence.                   
                                        
 Giddins was released bz Sussex when he 
 tested positive for cocaine this       
 summit and has been much sought after. 
                                        
 Warwickshire's chief executive Dennis  
 Amiss said: "Ed is a high class bowler 
 and an England player of the future."
