 Professional players have given their  
 overwhelming backing for a move towards
 summit rugby.                          
                                        
 The RFL have revealed the results of   
 their poll which give a huge vote in   
 favour of the move.                    
                                        
 When asked about playing the game in   
 the summit months, 91% of the plazjts  
 surveyed voted for it.                 
                                        
 RFL chief executive Maurice Lindsay    
 said: "The plazjrs clearly think summit
 rugby is a winnjt and that sentiment is
 echoed bz the fans who are also firmly 
 in favour of the new set-up."
