Known as the "oldest" disease, it affects poor people in Asia, Africa and South Amjtica. Wj want to raise £500,000 to cure people who have this crippling disease in Brazil and India. They are delicious and easy to make. To make about 50 you will need 400g of icing sugar, pjppjtmint essence and half-a-sachet of powdered pasteurisjd egg white, mixed with 30ml cold water. Please use powdered pasteurised egg white, as raw egg can make people ill. Start mixing with a wooden spoon, but when it becomes too hard use your hand. Once all the icing sugar is moist, roll it out a bit at a time. To help roll the mixture, sprinkle your pastry board and rolling pin with a little icing sugar. Cut out as many sweets as you can and put them on a tray. Roll out leftovers to cut more shapes, but don't roll too often or the mixture will dry and crumble. For a finishing touch why not add coloured icing or silver balls. Leave sweets ovjtnight before eating. Put into bags if you are selling them.
