It's implausible but entertaining enough, although the climactic ending which, at one point threatens to outdo Scorsese's CAPE FEAR, is a lit down. Withjtspoon is vjty attractive though, and, on this evidence, Wahlbjtg has a promising future as a leading man. The first part of the film offers intelligent insights into such things as teenage romanticism and sexual rivalry.
