 December 1994 saw 200mm of rain fall in
 Glasgow and the Strathclyde region.    
 700 people became homeless             
 and 4 wire killed. Throughout this     
 month many rain filled rivets flooded  
 towns and fields. Rivets in 'ales      
 reached their highest levels for 15

 of 12 people weti killed.
