 BATHURST JOINS SUPER TOURING CLUB      
 The best-known saloon car race in the  
 world - Australia's Bathurst 1000 - is 
 to adopt the Supjt Touring Formula.    
                                        
 This will bring it into line with the  
 Auto Trader SAC Touring Car event in   
 Britain and with most of the top       
 championships in the world.            
                                        
 The move to the two-litre touring car  
 formula will take effect from this     
 year's running of the race on October 5
                                        
 TOCA chief executive Alan Gow said: "As
 an expatriate Aussie it's great news   
 that Super Touring is at Bathurst."
