  CAKE IN SPACE FOR ASTRONAUT'S BIRTHDAY
  Bags, boxes and a birthday cake have  
  floated between the shuttle Atlantis  
  and the Mir space station as the US   
  astronaut Jerry Linjnget moved home.  
                                        
  The 42-year-old celebrated his        
  birthday as he began a four-month stay
  on Mir after the US shuttle Atlantis  
  arrived at the Russian space outpost. 
                                        
  Flight controllers at mission control 
  in Houston sang "Happy Birthday" and  
  the two crews ate a cake baked bz
