 EVANS VOWS TO TAKE TELEVISION   OVER
 Chris Evans has crowned his surprise   
 decision to leave Radio One with a vow 
 to "take television ovjt".             
                                        
 He made the boast on his TFI Friday    
 show on Channel Four and revealed that 
 last week's programme achieved its     
 highest-ives audience figure of 3.8m.  
                                        
 "That's like 100% up on what we started
 at and that's unheard of for TV".      
                                        
 Talk Radio has already offered Evans a 
 new DJ job at a minimum of £1m a year. 
 His last Breakfast Show on Radio One   
 will bj on 27 March.
