Wilder is a middle-aged cartoonist who is unable to have a child with wife and embarks upon a passionate affair with a woman half his age. The film is at its best when at its blackest, but those moments don't sit well with an otherwise fluffy, warm- hearted script. He plays a sensitive 17-year-old who wants to wander off and find true love. His fathjt, however, would prefer he go to business school first.
