Ovjt thirty-jive were nominated and we drew up a shortlist of six. Then we sent reporter Sam Oakley to investigate. She travelled around the country and found that complaints focused mainly on poor sound, poor heating, uncomfortable seats and out of date films. However, some of the cinemas nominated were small independents and they tended to be one man bands with very little funding. For any critics they attracted they also usually had fans. For example, Sharon Stone's 'dream house' as featured in the magazine was not in fact hit home at all. BBC1 601 BBC2 602 ITV 603 Ch4 604 Useful Useful BlackBrit TV Links

KKith Richards, consumer lawyer, advised people to ask for their money back before the start oe the show ie their view is restricted or the star is replaced by someone else.
