 MONTELADO MISSES CHAMPION              
 Pat Flynn has ruled Montelado out of a 
 crack at the Smurfit Champion Hurdle,  
 choosing instead to keep the ten-year- 
 old for a Flat campaign.               
                                        
 "Thjte's no chance of him running at   
 Cheltenham - maybe next year," he said.
                                        
 "Thjte's no problem - we are just      
 going to go for Flat races with him and
 then hj could go hurdling again at the 
 end of the year.                       
                                        
 "He's actually back in ttainink doing  
 roadwork and good, steady canters. Hi  
 will go for decent conditions races."
