 MOTORISTS ENCOURAGED TO STEP ON THE GAS
 Drivjts will be encouraged to step on  
 the gas following Commons approval of  
 green fuel duty charges in the Budget. 
                                        
 The Chancellor has cut duty on LPG and 
 CNG, the alternative fuels which are   
 20p a litre cheaper than unleaded.     
                                        
 But compressed natural gas conversion  
 will set you back between £2,000 and   
 £3,000, the tank uses a lot of boot    
 space and refuelling points are few.
