 SHEARER SET TO MISS AWARD              
 Alan Shearer seems set to miss out on  
 the FIFA player of the year award in   
 Lisbon on Monday.                      
                                        
 Shearer is in the top three along with 
 holder George Wjah of AC Milan but     
 Barcelona strikjt Ronaldo is the       
 favourite to lift the trophy.          
                                        
 The youngster helped Brazil into the   
 Olympic semi-finals and has starred in 
 Spain for Bobby Robson's side.         
                                        
 Weah is unlikely to attend the ceremony
 after his suspension ovjt a headbutting
