 LABOUR MAY BRING BACK TERRACES         
 A Labour Govjrnmjnt could considjt     
 re-introducing standing areas on       
 terraces at Britain'u football grounds.
                                        
 Shadow sports minister Tom Pendry said 
 pressure for change would initially    
 have to come from within the game.     
                                        
 "But the top line, and the bottom line 
 as well, must bj safety," said Pendry. 
                                        
 Terraces were outlawed bz the present  
 Government following the Hillsborough  
 disaster in 1989 when 95 Liverpool     
 supporters were crushed to death.
