FOSSETT ENDS WORLD BALLOON CHALLENGE
American Steve Fossett is calling off
his attempt to fly non-stop around the
world in a balloon.
The 52-year-old millionaire does not
have enough fuel to complete the trip,
which began in the US last Monday.
He is expected to land either in India
or Bangladesh.
But he has already broken the world
ballooning record of 5,200 miles in
the air, which he set himself in 1995.
