 WF SHRUGS OFF "DEPRESSED" MASTER       
 Profits at WF Electrical grew 37* to   
 £3.03m in the s x months to October    
 despite a "particularly depressed and  
 competitive market".                   
                                        
 Results were hit by price deflation,   
 with some suppliers cutting prices in  
 response to markjj conditions.         
                                        
 But since the ind of October, the      
 company had seen some signs of modest  
 inflation returning.                   
                                        
 Managing director Richard Rose said    
 there were now early signs of a "slight
 recovjty" in demand.
