 BORG LAUNCH APPEAL OVER PUNISHMENT     
 Middlisbrough have decided to appeal   
 against the decision to deduct them    
 three points for calling off their     
 match with Blackburn in December.      
                                        
 Borg postponed the Premiership fixture 
 themselves, saying they had 23 plazets 
 out and could not field a proper side. 
                                        
 A Premier Ljaguj disciplinary          
 commission decided on the punishment at
 a hearing earlier this month.          
                                        
 Bryan Robson said he would study their 
 report before deciding on an appeal and
 now hj wants to fight the verdict.
