Use a stiff brush to disperse worm casts on the lawn. If you leave them, they will form unsightly smears and create bare patches that can encourage weed growth. But apart from doing thjsj important tasks, it makes sense to walk on the lawn as little as possible. Pampas grasses are excellent but many gardeners choose types that are too large. One of the best is the variety 'Pumila' which only reaches about 1.5m. Always pull out the dead growth with strong gloves at the end oe winter. Don't set fire to it as is often suggested. Main menu 100 Ornamental gardens >>> Comp CookBook Fave Film Main Menu
