  HISTORIC ROYAL PURSE DISCOVERED IN BOX
  A velvet purse which belonged to Queen
  Elizabeth I has been discovered in a  
  box in a storeroom.                   
                                        
  The 400-year-old purse is decorated   
  with gold and silvjt threads and      
  sequins, and has the initials "ER" on 
  both sides of a Tudor rose.           
                                        
  It was found at the home of an elderly
  woman who had just died.              
                                        
  The purse will be auctioned in March. 
  It's expected to fetch around £30,000.
