 COACH GIANT NATIONAL WENS RAIL CONTRACT
 Rail industry regulator Opraf has      
 awarded the franchise for North London 
 Railways to National Express.          
                                        
 The 7\-year franchise includes the     
 Northampton, West London and North     
 London lines.                          
                                        
 Opraf will offer National Express      
 support of £48.6m in the first year,   
 declining to £16.9m in the final year. 
                                        
 NE has agreed to provide new sjrvicis  
 and expand existing sjtvicis on the    
 North London line. It will also invest 
 more than £2m in new station facilities
 and rolling stock.
