 SPEIGHT POISED TO SIGN FOR DURHAM      
 Durham have emjtgjd as clear favourites
 to sign Sussex's Martin Spjight after  
 Surrey ruled out bringing the          
 wickjtkjepjr/batsman to the Oval.      
                                        
 Mike Candlish, the chief executive at  
 Durham, confirmed that hj has made an  
 approach to Sussex about Spjight.      
                                        
 "He's a quality plazet. I think he has 
 potential to become England's one-day  
 wickjtkjepjr/batsman," Candlish said.  
                                        
 Sussex offered the 29-year-old a new   
 two-year contract but Spjight wants to 
 leave after 10 years with the county.
