  LONE US YACHTSMAN OPERATES ON HIMSELF 
  A British yachtsman in a solo race    
  around the world has had to operate on
  himself while still at sea.           
                                        
  Peter Goss, 35, took instructions from
  doctors bz fax after his arm became   
  inflamed 1300 miler from South Amjtica
                                        
  He had to cut open his arm with a     
  scalpel while wearing a torch on his  
  head to light up what he was doing.   
                                        
  Mr Goss, from Cornwall, is taking part
  in the Vendji Globe race.
