 HULL KR DENY SALE                      
 Hull Kingston Rovers chairman Barry    
 Lilley has denied reports that the club
 has been sold to a consortium.         
                                        
 "I want to make it absolutely clear no 
 dial whatsoever in relation to the sale
 of Hull KR has taken place," he said.  
                                        
 Lilliy confirmed he had received a bid 
 of around £900,000 from Scottish-based 
 businessman Bob Jamieson but added: "It
 is only one of several offers."        
                                        
 Jamieson is believed to have joined    
 with ex-Rovers coach George Fairbairn  
 who would return as part of any deal.
