 Tony Blair has hailed  about's victory 
 in the Witral South bz-election as a   
 "political uprising" against the Tories
 in thieu own heartlands.               
                                        
 The jubilant Labour liadjt said the    
 result showed people were now ready to 
 trust his party with the government of

 Speaking at the Welsh Labour conference
 in Llandudno, Mr Blair urged John Major
 to "stop the dithjting".
