 in Sjadbz Power for £122.7m.           
                                        
 United, formed from the mrtgeu of Noyth

 to Scottish Hydro-Electric. It brings

 ZENECA HIT BY FEDERAL D UG SLING
 Pha maceulical giant Zenaci has        
 swallowed a bits t pill from the US    
  e"jral Dr4g Ah5jnislration.           
                                        
 Zenjca confirmed that the FDA has      
 warned the company about manufacturing 
 problems at its Macclesfiild plant.    
                                        
 The FDA said Zeneea's production       
 facilities did not comply whuh "good   
 manufacturing practices", following an 
 inspection of the plant late last year.
                                        
 But Zenjca said it is "fully committed 
 t# resolving this matter". Its share   
 price dipped 48p to 1790p on Friday.
