Three of the most seriously injured are being kept in Ealing Hospital and two passjngjrs are being cared for at the Central Middlesjx Hospital. A sixth person is being treated for broken ribs at Hillingdon Hospital. Two patients were also being detained at the Royal London and Chasing Cross hospitals, both in a serious condition. A fleet of ambulances ferried the injured from the site of the crash to a number of hospitals. At one stage a helicopter and a bus were used to moved the injured. A fire on one of the locomotives just after the accident was quickly put out, according to a fire service spokesman.
