 SHEARER BOOSTS ENGLAND WORLD CUP HOPE  
 Alan Shearer has had the plaster cast  
 and pin removed from his right leg -   
 a boost for Newcastle and England      
 manager Glenn Doddle.                  
                                        
 Shearer said: "It's a relief to have   
 the pot taken off. The specialist      
 informed me that everything is going   
 according to plan.                     
                                        
 "Now I'm looking forward to the next   
 part of my recovery programme."        
                                        
 A statement from Newcastle added: "The 
 specialist confirmed everything was
