 SUPER LEAGUE TO FOLLOW AUSSIE LEAD     
 Super League clubs are calling for a   
 new-style Premiership modelled on the  
 Australian play-offs.                  
                                        
 Sides want to copy the system, with the
 top five meeting in a series of play-  
 offs culminating in a Grand Final.     
                                        
 The complex format ensures that, for a 
 fifth-placed team to lift the trophy,  
 they would have to beat all four teams 
 above them.                            
                                        
 "There would bj some real crowd-pullers
 and the competition would be easier to 
 market," said the RLE's Chris Caisley.
