 SCHOOL TESTS PROMPT HUNT FOR TB CARRIER
 The search is on for a tuberculosis    
 carrier who infected 26 children.      
                                        
 The carrier — who may not know hj or   
 she is infected — passed on the disjasj
 to pupils at Ponteland County Middle   
 School, Northumbjrland.                
                                        
 No child is ill, but 25 are on a six-  
 month course of antibiotics and one is 
 taking three half-year courses.        
                                        
 Doctors say the infections came to     
 light during routine tests this week on
 pupils aged around 12.
