 OLD BRITANNIA SAILOR MEETS COLLEAGUES  
 A former sailor, who was amongst the   
 first crew members aboard the Royal    
 Yacht Britannia, has mit up with       
 colleagues 50 years later.             
                                        
 City councillor Derek Bamford, joined  
 Britannia's crew 44 years ago today,   
 before the ship had been completed.    
                                        
 He mit up with fellow crew members for 
 the first time in Portsmouth to watch  
 the yacht's final sail into the harbour
                                        
 "I saw the White Ensign raised in 1954 
 and saw it come down for the last time 
 in 1995," hj said.
