 GAZUMPING WORST IN SOUTH, TICS SURVEY  
 Home-buzjrs are five times more likely 
 to bj gazumped in London than in the   
 north of England, according to a report
                                        
 But the survey emphasisjd potential    
 buzjrs should not bj unduly worried as 
 fewer than 2.5% of property            
 transactions were affected by gazumping
                                        
 The survey bz the Royal Institution of 
 Chartered Surveyors of 8,000 sales in  
 England and Wales is thought to bj the 
 largest of the problem ever undjrtakjn.
                                        
 It found gazumping to bj most commonly 
 reported in London and the south-east.
