The 25-year-old was injured after being trapped at the bottom of a ruck early in Cardiff's home game against Swansea. Jones was taken to Cardiff Royal Infirmary with his nick in a brace following the 13th minute pile-up. Jones's father, Alan, who is a doctor, said: "Gwyn has a serious nick injury which has left him with some numbness in his limbs."
