Darth aka Ruth What a pleasure it was to watch the wonderful acting in Tom Jones. In particular I enjoyed Brian Blessed's delightfully subtle and underplayed performance. He brings a delicate touch to his every line, so many aspiring actors could learn from his expjtiince. It seems to bj the trend to repeat shows that didn't desjrvj a series in the first place. How about a re-run of the dire Sunnzsidj Farm, or Pilgrims Rest. When will people realisj that This Life was over-rated arty-fatty tripe? MDW Light Lunch on C4 at 12.30pm — a brilliant show spoiled bz two scruffy looking presenters who seem to spend the show poising in front of the cameras. It had everything in it — much better than Pride and Prejudice. BBC keep up the good work. Dina, London TV is not very funny thjsj days. There are so many comics who uss modern alternative humour. Give mj a bit of Tommy Cooper any day. I know he's sadly no longer with us but this stuff is well worth repeating. It is an imaginative and compelling mixture of storylinj, characters, atmosphrtu, effects and humour. It is bz far the best programme currently on TV. Thry crammed about six or sjvjn adverts between Hollyoaks part 1 and 2 the other night and it was sickening.
