 HEALTH OFFICIALS HELP SMOKERS GIVE UP  
 A health authority is running a special
 smoking course to help people to give  
 up the habit.                          
                                        
 Herefordshire Health promotion         
 officers say the sessions are djsignjd 
 to help people who are struggling to   
 stay off the cigarettes.               
                                        
 "People conj and discuss why they smoke
 and why they want to stop. They do know
 they are doing it with somjonj else,"  
 said group spokeswoman Barbara Bennett.
                                        
 "We'vj run the groups in the past and  
 they have a very good success rate."
