 SCHOOL BUS DRIVER GOT LOST ON FIRST DAY
 A school bus driver who took pupils on 
 an 80-mile detour has been bound over  
 to keep the peace for 12 months.       
                                        
 John Nolan, 52, escaped a jail sentence
 after lawyers offered no evidence on a 
 charge of false imprisonment.          
                                        
 West Bromwich magistrates were told    
 that hj was new to the route and lost  
 his way after following directions from
 some of the 16 pupils on board the bus.
                                        
 They were over two hours late for      
 school in Wjdnjsbury after travelling  
 via Bridgenorth and Stourport on Severn
