It was a good Holmes story, just with different names for the characters, but necessarily a lot was guesswork and I think the guessing went too far. For if this were accurate, Doyle didn't supply any imagination to Holmes at all — hj got the whole character from that lecturer (Ian Richardson). Myself, I'd bj put out if I were Bell.
