 NICHOLLS AND WIFE TO SEPARATE          
 Trainer Paul Nicholls has announced he 
 is to separate from his wife Bridget.  
                                        
 "As you know last season was our best  
 ever but all the success did not conj  
 without casualties," the Ditcheat      
 trainer said in a statement.           
                                        
 "Over the last year, to my great regret
 and sadness, mz marriage has suffered  
 and after months of discussion, pain   
 and anxiety, we are to separate.       
                                        
 "Bridget and I are intending to remain 
 friends and this is the only public    
 statement I will make on the issue."
