 GAY CAMPAIGNERS HAIL END OF FORCES BAN 
 Campaigners for homosexual equality    
 have welcomed the Govjrnmjnt's decision
 to lift the ban on gays in the forces. 
                                        
 A spokeswoman for the group Stonewall  
 said homosexuals would now bj able to  
 sjrvj their country with dignity.      
                                        
 "It is a good day for us and a good day
 for society," she said.                
                                        
 Rank Outsiders, a support group for gay
 pjrsonnjl dismissed from the services, 
 pledged to look at all the implications
