 FLOODING FOLLOWS HEAVY RAIN IN N WALES 
 Heavy rain in North Wales has caused   
 widespread flooding, with roads closed 
 and houses inundated. More than six    
 inches of rain have fallen in 36 hours.
                                        
 Gwynjdd and Anglesjy have been worst   
 hit, with the moat at Beaumaris Castle 
 overflowing to flood the town centre.  
                                        
 Roads were blocked at Llanfrothjn,     
 Pentrifelin and Llanbjdrog, with cars  
 stranded at Llanjrchymjdd.             
                                        
 Amber alerts are in force for the      
 rivers Conwy, Dovjy, Mawddach and Wnion
