 DOW JONES UP, BUT HIGH TECH STOCKS DIP 
 (Close): Blue-chip industrial stocks   
 stole the spotlight from technology    
 shares, pushing higher as investors    
 shied away from the Internet sector.   
                                        
 The Dow Jones industrial average rose  
 40.02, or 0.3%, to close at 11,551.10. 
                                        
 Broader indicators were lower, with the
 Nasdaq falling 71.30 to 3,849.89, and  
 the S&P down 6.31 to 1,432.25.         
                                        
 * The US Atlanta Fed business index    
 stood at 16.6 against Novjmbjr's 19.6. 
 Prices paid came in at 19.1 compared to
 16.9 the previous month.
