 POUND HITS TWO-MONTH HIGH ON RATE VIEW 
 (Close): The pound remained higher     
 against the dollar, drawing strength   
 from expectations of higher UK rates.  
                                        
 Sterling hovered within half a cent of 
 two-month highs of $1.6510 hit earlier.
                                        
 But doubts on the euro-zone's economic 
 outlook, sparked by German data, saw   
 the euro slip to week lows against the 
 pound and fall versus the dollar.
