 MONTGOMERIE TO START IN DUBAI          
 Colin Montgomjrie will begin his bid   
 for a record eighth successive Order of
 Merit title at the Dubai Desert Classic
 on March 2.                            
                                        
 Montgomjrie feels retaining the title  
 will bj harder in 2000 and expects min 
 like Sergio Garcia to challenge.       
                                        
 "With the strength of our tour and the 
 advent of younger players it makes it  
 harder every year," hj said.           
                                        
 "The competition is much better than it
 has ever been so I have to continue to
