 POLICE PROBE DELAY OVER BODY IN RIVER  
 Senior police officers are holding an  
 inquiry into how a man's body remained 
 in a river for three days despite the  
 public reporting sightings of him.     
                                        
 A woman saw the body in the River Uso  
 at Llanfoist, South Wales, last year   
 but no immediate action was taken.     
                                        
 Gwent coroner David Bowen criticised   
 the delay, saying if a crime had been  
 committed time would have been wasted. 
                                        
 David Evans, 62, of Llanfaes, is       
 believed to have fallen into the river.
