But cloud and occasional rain over Northern Scotland will move south over night. Clearing skies will bring frost and snow showers to parts of Scotland by morning. Becoming windy. Saturday Cloud and spots of rain will clear then the brighter colder showery weather already over Scotland will extend southwards to most parts. There will be a chilling strong north wind and some wintry showers in the NE.
