Minister for Public Health Yvette Cooper has announced that the programme's extension depends on the final results of the ongoing schemes. "We will be extending the programme if the pilots show it would be beneficial to women's health," said Cooper. * Three breast cancer screening pilot schemes have been set up — the last scheme will finish this spring.
