 KILLER MAY HAVE LEFT PRINTS     

 Police are appealing for a car driver  
 to conj forward as his vehicle may     
 point the way to the IRA gunman who    
 shot dead a young policeman.           
                                        
 The killer may have left his           
 fingerprints on the blue vehicle which 
 almost knocked him down as hj escaped. 
                                        
 He had just shot Constable Michael     
 Ferguson, 21, outside the busy Richmond
 shopping complex in Londondjrry.
