 HIGH-GUSTING WENDS CONTINUE    
                              
 High-gusting winds are persisting,     
 making road conditions dangerous for   
 high-sided vehicles and no real let-up 
 is expected until Tuesday.             
                                        
 Ten thousand homes in the region were  
 cut off when power lines were brought  
 down during the gales.                 
                                        
 Part of an electricity sub-station at  
 Bayford Hill, Shrewsbury, was blown    
 down on to the A49 trunk road.
