 BA RELAUNCHES USAIR BID PLAN           
                                        
 Shares in British Airways were marked  
 higher last week as it took a second   
 shot at cementing a tie-up with USAir. 
                                        
 BA's plan to take a 44% stake in the US
 carrier was scaled back to 22% for an  
 injection of $300m. But Washington     
 could again block the revised bid.     
                                        
 The deal completed a trying week for BA
 with chairman Lord King apologising for
 the Virgin "dirty tricks" affair.
