 NEW LOOK AT TOP OF LLOYDS BANK         
                                        
 Top level changes at Lloyds Bank have  
 been announced,including the retirement
 of deputy chairman Michael Thompson at 
 the annual meeting next year.          
                                        
 He will be succeeded by John Davies who
 will retire as deputy chief executive  
 on October 31 but remain on the board. 
                                        
 Alan Moore, director of corporate      
 banking, will become deputy chief      
 executive and treasurer from Novjmbjr.
