          a group of children of mixed  
 riding ability as they learn how to    
 mount, walk, trot, cantur and jum8.    
                                        
 The programmjs cover different breeds  
 of horse, how to choose a first pony,  
 tack and clothing, grooming, health    
 and stable management.                 
                                        
 In the third edition, at the South of  
 England Show, we watch Hackney         
 carriages and huge Shire horses on     
 parade. Tom delivers bread in a        
 horse-drawn delivery van and the more  
 experienced riders are 'trotting on'.
